Debby Maciorowski

Debby Maciorowski is a member of Cornerstone Church and was born again on April 1, 2007.  It was the day her new life began with Him–one that will last an eternity.  She is a healthcare professional whose art is inspired by Jesus, who she holds dear to her heart.  Until recently the only art she actively participated in was playing her trumpet for her church’s worship team. God has allowed her to put her name to His work of poetry and pencil drawings. She says, “It’s His work because, honestly everything you see and read came directly from Him. The only part I add is a little tweak here and there. It is such a blessing to be used by Him.”

The Endless Love

In the stillness….listen.

He’s calling.

He’s calling you.

You need an ear to hear.

He whispers.

Can you hear Him?

Tempted like you and me,

Yet sinless.

White as snow,

His body broken

His blood shed.

Take…eat….drink.

His endless love,

Sealed with the cross,

Forever loved!

Oh, how He loves!

Oh, how He loves!

You and me!

Tear Filled Hallelujahs

You hardly notice the change

sports on in there

reading over there

slowly, the cord unravels

one strand at a time

broken, feeling defeated, still hanging on

Here comes the thunder, lightening, and torrential rains; so hard to respond when you want to react.  Crying out through tear filled hallelujahs.

No one knows what happens

behind these doors of ours

yelling, arguing, cursing, accusing,

inexcusable acts of betrayal, slamming of doors

he said; she said

smiling and saying Hi as we walk the aisles

distant, barely touching

silence all around

Here comes the thunder, lightening, and torrential rains; so hard to respond when you want to react.  Crying out through tear filled hallelujahs.

Don’t leave

we can fix this

praying in this brokenness

meeting with Pastor

hard work ahead

restoration through Him

Here comes the thunder, lightening, and torrential rains; so hard to respond when you want to react. Crying out tear filled hallelujahs.

That Light

The end of the month is coming

If time could stand still

All could be accomplished.

I could earn more money

Maybe an oil change

Would smooth things out

Focus, focus, distracted by the light!

Hopeful that the light goes out

Call Bob to schedule

Next Wednesday at 6pm

Drive in, light still on

How long will it take?

Where will the money come from?

Keep on praying!

Focus, focus, distracted by the light!

Disconnected the wire

Light finally out!

Picked up, turn lights on and off

Left turn signal now the right

Failed inspection again- Drive out

Turn corner at stop sign—Nooooo! Not again!

Focus, focus, distracted by the light!

The Woods

He heard the crunch of autumn leaves behind him.  He turned slow but sure not to make a sound.  He peered around his son’s favorite oak tree; visibility was difficult for dusk was upon him. Nothing crossed his view, shrugging it off; he continued to pack up his camera and writing supplies. There it was again, the crackling of leaves! Closer and louder this time Marcus crouched around to ascertain what was making the ruckus. Again, nothing was there no matter how hard he pried his gaze into the deep woods.

Eager to gather his camera and writing supplies now, Marcus was intent on his departure. The auscultation of the branches breaking insinuated something huge.  There’s only been small wildlife in these woods from what he could remember.

Something else in the distance was moving with an increased velocity almost supersonic. Branches were snapping with an amplified sound.  Eventually, the only sound he could hear was the pulsating blood rushing through his ears.  Marcus crept stealthily to scan beyond his oak tree, shell-shocked at what his eyes computed.  It was a mountain lion propelling straight for him just as it leaped to attack Marcus dropped and screamed, God help me!  He laid there with his eyes glued shut praying fervently that God would wake him up from this nightmare.  Squinting one eye ajar he caught a glimpse of something magnificently radiant and very large.

Being there was a full moon and clear skies that night the woods were not succumbed by total darkness.  Whoever this was he wore a polished breast-plate and brilliant shield inscribed with large red crosses and in the battle stance his sword dripped with blood.  He easily stood seven feet tall could he be some kind of religious knight?  Maybe there was a King Arthur’s fair somewhere nearby?

Marcus had been visiting these woods for a good part of his life about 46 years now.  There had never been any mountain lions or “King Arthur” events around here for the matter.  As Marcus rose to a standing position he noticed the inscription on the breastplate, MICHAEL.  The “knight” lowered his sword and the mountain lion dropped to the earth dead.  Semi-paralyzed and aphonic with fright Marcus’ eyes gazed up at the massive man.

“Have no fear.” Michael said.

Marcus’ mouth lay open unable to utter a word still.

Michael whispered, “He heard your cry.”

With tear filled eyes, Marcus chokingly said, “Really?”

“He knows your pain.  He too, lost His son! Satan came like a roaring lion to steal the joy of Christ from your heart.  Your son Bobby would have donned his play “Armor of God” gear and overthrown him like David conquered Goliath.”

Marcus agreed, “He sure would have.”

“Your Heavenly Father wants you to know GOOD will come of this tragedy, because of Bobby many will come to know the Father.  Bobby told me he can think clearly now and there is no more pain!”

Marcus fell to his knees and sobbed.

“The Calling”

Are you being called?

To a place you’ve never been?

How will you respond?

Will it be the mission field?

Or will you be a shepherd?

“JESUS”

Joy comes to those that love Him.

Eternity in the comfort of His arms.

Sustaining my faith through good and bad.

Undeniably a love that no other can give.

Saved by grace because of His love.

“There Must Be More”

I fear I am lost and alone forever.

Darkness floods my soul.

I’ve allowed myself to free-fall

In this desolate abyss too long.

A slave to sin and self-fulfillment, 24/7 now.

Where is the girl I once knew?

I can’t find her, will she never return?

Oh, God don’t let it end here-not like this.

Is there no one who cares anymore?

You meant for there to be more-

So much more than this!

Every time I attempt to look up

My flesh drags me down.

I need Your light!

A mere flicker, could ignite the hope

I so desperately yearn for.

Please help me to see my way-

No, Your way!

Only you, Jesus can help me now.

I fear I am lost and alone forever.

“Breakthrough”

Storms will come regardless of

The path you are currently walking.

The intensity of the storm does not matter.

It may be a hurricane,

A thunderstorm,

Or an afternoon shower.

Always remember this

The force of the wind and rain

Is of no importance to Him

For He is the great I AM!

Let His light breakthrough

And watch Him calm your storm.

by Debby Maciorowski

“Broken”

Falling on my knees

Falling on my knees

In brokenness.

How does one move on?

In a moment such as this

Tears cloud my vision

In desperation.

Fearing my light is

Almost extinguished

Barely a flicker left

To illuminate the darkness.

How does one move on?

It’s almost too much to endure.

Bow down before Him

And let the shelter of His wings

Consume your brokenness.

“Addicted”

My Jesus, My Jesus

How do I get more?

I need it now!

The outside world is

Crushing Me!

The walls seem to be closing in

And temptation is everywhere.

I need my fix now!

Can you help me?

Where do I go to get more?

You name the time and place

I’ll be there waiting.

Waiting for you.

Be still and listen to Me.

I will give you what you desire.

How, When, Where?

Please tell me now!

Be Still my child !!!

Listen to my whisper

Slow your breathing,

Fall to your knees

And let me hear

A mere whisper of my name

From your lips.

J-e-s-u-s  J-e-s-u-s  J-e-s-u-s

I AM HERE!!!

For nothing is impossible with Me.

Receive My peace now.

Soak in My presence

Bathe in it,

For as long as you need.

Look within and know that

I AM!!!

Never forget

I will always be with you

So drink from the Living Water

Anytime

And get what you need.

“Fallen and Broken”

Fallen and broken-

How did I get here?

Is there anyone out there?

Lord, can you hear me?

I NEED YOU!

My dear, sweet child

I am right here-

Where you left me-

Locked inside.

But God I haven’t heard

From you in years.

Child you stopped

Seeking me long ago.

I remember the first day

You called me.

“Mommy I’m ready for Jesus now.”

Do you remember? I do.

You used to confide in me daily.

Oh, how I do miss our talks.

Father, please forgive me!

Child all was forgiven at the Cross.

And you still want me

Like this, fallen and broken?

My dear child it is in your weakness

That you are made strong.

Will you take my hand now?

Come let’s walk together

And share

As we once did.

“Sweet Sorrow”

A day of sweet sorrow

Will there be a tomorrow?

How can this be?

I can’t imagine life without thee.

It is true, presently we are apart

But yet there’s joy in my heart.

Try that I may to not shed a tear

Oh, tomorrow come near.

For, someday my sweet sorrow.

I will see that tomorrow.

Until then, dear Prince of Peace

Hold close my beloved deceased.

“Changing of the Guard”

Look, the seasons

Are coming to an end.

It is time for,

Changing of the Guard.

It is slow at first and

Before you know it

A harvest collage

Has taken place.

One by one, they begin

The descent,

Gliding leisurely from

Side to side.

As if being cradled

To sleep in My arms.

Some will be swept up

In the ascension

To rest

At My feet.

I ask you my little ones,

Will you tarry

With Me a while?

And let your hearts

Be refreshed in Me

Until the next,

Changing of the Guard.

“Whispering Clouds”

Whispering clouds all around

Yes, whispering clouds all around.

I anxiously wait for Him

By whom my heart was captured.

As I see them dance across the sky

Oh, how my heart yearns to fly.

With Him from above.

Knowing it will be on His wings of love.

Whispering clouds all around

I patiently wait and listen

For the sound of the Shofar-

Then I’m assured that my Savior is here.

Embracing the sweetness of His sound.

I await His fanfare—

The day He rides in

To magnify His sound.

Whispering clouds all around

“Once Lost”

I was once Lost

But at what cost?

Now I am found

No longer to be bound.

Let the trumpet sound

With all that I have found.

No longer lost

Because of the Cross.

Debby Maciorowski

“The Light Within”

Why can you not look at me?

Why is this?

Are you not my kin?

The best is right here within.

I wish you could see

With whom holds the key.

It is His light

That shines so bright

For, He is my rock

The one who has unlocked

My heart with His light.

Oh, please don’t depart–

Just a glimpse within

Because you are my kin.

Please let me share what’s within.

by

Debby Maciorowski

“My Love”

Oh, how I long for the Son,

To which my heart was won.

It overflows with love

Only from thee above.

Can you not perceive?

My heart believes

That He is The King!

Hence, my everything.

He is the lover of my soul

For, there could be, no other.

Oh, how I long for the Son.

To which my heart was won.

By

Debby Maciorowski

“Never Look Back”

Never look back

Look only to Him

Don’t let the past

Determine who you are,

Let His light

Mold who you become.

It is in His

Perfect love

That His light

Begins to shine.

So never look back.

Look only to Him

For, He is the only

Power source

You will ever need.

So look to the Son

 And remember

By His stripes you are

HEALED!!!

“Until Death Do Us Part”

Many years ago I gave

A promise before my God

To my beloved and

It shall remain so

Until death do us part.

Long ago

The ring went on

Never to be removed.

Only death will

Part our bond

Here on earth.

I stand here declaring

Before my God that

Three golden strands were woven

Together long ago.

My heart remains captured

Within those strands.

I stand here in faith

Believing that these

Strands will once again be intertwined

Tighter than before.

Lord, I am standing

On your promises of

RESTORATION!

Lord, do your work

In my BELOVED.

Heal my beloved’s heart.

Lord, give your precious

Love, Joy, Peace,

And above all else

FORGIVENESS!

I will continue to stand on your

PROMISES,

Until death do us part.
